Local Outreach

Jesus sent his disciples out to reach Jerusalem (their local city), Judea, and "the uttermost parts of the world" with the Gospel and the love of Jesus. Following the same command today, Calvary Chapel of York reaches out to the local community through means such as street evangelism, sports clinics in the local parks, outdoor concerts and worship services, food and clothing distribution, vacation bible school, and other opportunities as the Lord directs.  We are also reaching out to the New Jersey coastal area with an outreach Bible study in Egg Harbor Township on Sunday nights.

Missions

Calvary Chapel reaches “the uttermost parts of the world” through regular financial support of international missionaries, responsively helping those in crisis outside of our local area, and sending short-term missions groups to the Dominican Republic to share the Gospel. Those ministries that receive regular financial support from Calvary Chapel of York are:

Gospel for Asia trains and supports native missionaries on the Asian continent

For Zion’s Sake Ministries is a Jerusalem based humanitarian aid organization dedicated to assisting the needs of newly arriving immigrants.

Far Reaching Ministries trains and deployes chaplains to serve in the South Sudan Army.

Open The Gates is a missions outreach to Muslims.

New Life For Girls is a local ministry that assists women with addictions and trains them to re-enter society in a productive role.

In Calvary's Care assists children in the Dominican Republic community of Barahona with food, clothing, and medical supplies.
