“With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,” (Ephesians 6:18, NASB95)

“While they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.” (Acts 13:2–3, NASB95)

“The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.” James 5:16.  Yet, we believe petition (asking for requests) is one small part of prayer.  “Ministering to the Lord” in a host of ways: praising, waiting, receiving, singing, submitting, being still, sharing are all the privileges of resting in His presence.  “Praying unceasingly” means we “never hang up” but continually enjoy the relationship with our Lord.  We were chosen to bear fruit.  These spring up as we abide in the Vine.

We believe prayer is fundamental and essential to the work of God in His church. We dedicate times to prayer to lift up the needs of the church and pray for revival in our community. Weekly meetings dedicated to prayer are:

Sunday - 8:15am-8:45am, Prayer before the worship services in the second floor meeting room above the café
