Our desire in Women’s Ministry is to provide opportunities for women to grow closer to the Lord, to one another, and to encourage those younger, as exhorted in Titus 2.

Women’s Ministry Opportunities

Women’s Bible Study: Meets in the sanctuary at 9:30am and 7:00pm the second Tuesday of every month from January through May.  This past year, we studied through the book of Proverbs .

Women’s Praise and Potluck Breakfasts: Quarterly women’s potluck breakfast followed by a time of worship and two testimonies.

Heart4Home: A quarterly ministry to moms with young children ages infants through 6th grade, in which we share lessons on child rearing, marriage, organization, and other practical topics.  This time includes a snack and a craft. Our theme verse for this ministry is Proverbs 14:1, “A wise woman builds her house, but the foolish tears it down with her own hands.”

Circle of Moms: A home fellowship for moms with children ages infant to 6th grade that meets the third Saturday of each month. The group gathers monthly to encourage and strengthen moms in their walks with Christ through fellowship, time in the Word and prayer.

Ladies Christmas Tea: Held the first Saturday of December from 11am-2pm.  This is an outreach event.

Women’s Retreat: An annual retreat on the first weekend of May at Byer’s Conference Center in Roxbury, PA.

Hospitality Basket Ministry: Ladies of the church meet annually to create gift baskets that will be distributed throughout the year to women of our fellowship who have undergone surgery or critical illness.

Meals Ministry: A ministry to provide meals to those in our church who have recently had surgery, delivered a baby, or enduring a medical condition in which service is needed.

In addition, we set aside other times to fellowship and have fun, such as game nights.  For additional information about women’s ministry, contact Nancy Novak.
